Ram Pro Audio and Lighting was started in 1999, by
Butch Ramirez, which has been in the
Music / Entertainment Business for over thirty years, and
son's, Tony and Louie Ramirez. They are all very
familiar with the different aspects of Pro Audio and
Lighting Production. Butch usually takes care of
Front of House duties. Tony heads up Monitor world,
and Louie does Lighting. The production company
evolved from setting up and running sound for the
Kaktus Band in Laredo, Tx. Butch is the drummer and
one of the vocalists in the band. As Tejano music
slowed down, and Norteno took over the Hispanic music
industry, rental sound and lighting demands increased.
Most of the artists at that time, were from Mexico, and did not
bring equipment into the US.
Originally, a three man operation, Ram Pro Audio
and Lighting has grown into a large scale production
company, employing up to 8 crew members. Their success
is due to the commitment and dedication of everyone
involved.
" Our goal has always been to provide the
best and latest equipment, along with the best service,"
says
Tony Ramirez. From a simple JBL stacked system, to a
more professional Meyer design system, and now
providing one of the first self-powered computer based
HiQ net JBL Vertec 4888 Line Array systems in the USA.
Ram Pro Audio and Lighting will provide the latest
technology to its growing client list.
Their client list includes over 300 artists, civic
organizations, and corporate clients.
